Fascism is the union of government with private business against the People.

2012-01-24 "Are the Koch brothers teaching you?" by Robert Greenwald from Brave New Foundation
Our latest video exposes billionaire brothers Charles and David Koch for their distorted philanthropy at cash-strapped American colleges and universities. Through their family foundations and nonprofits, the Koch brothers are requiring Koch-friendly professors drill Ayn Rand's ideology into students in exchange for the Kochs' ideological "strings attached" donations.
Watch our latest video, then ask our friend Ed Schultz to expose the Koch brothers' psycho talk [http://act.bravenewfilms.org/go/969?akid=2037.94337.l4BKb0&t=5].

We're responding by partnering with local Florida groups to organize the campus against the Koch brothers' infringement on independent academic integrity. Organizing in defense of academia and against the Koch brothers, who seek to ideologically influence college students and have entrenched allied groups on campus, isn't going to be easy. Help us give these young activists the nation-wide support they deserve.
Student leaders at Florida State University are working to organize students in opposition to the Koch brothers' influence. Some more details are at the bottom of this note, but we need your help to make the Koch brothers' influence on academia into a national issue.
Will you tweet @Ed Schultz and help us expose the Koch brothers' psycho talk? [http://act.bravenewfilms.org/go/972?akid=2037.94337.l4BKb0&t=6]
Here's the plan to expose the Kochs at Florida State University:
* Tonight in the heart of the FSU campus, students from the Florida State Progress Coalition are kicking off a campaign against the Kochs. These students are premiering our Koch Brothers Exposed video and leading a Q&A panel featuring students, faculty members, Florida legislative leaders, and progressive activists and bloggers to raise awareness and inspire action.
* Students will staff tonight's event and manage the campaign to organize students against the Koch brothers' influence at FSU.
* You can stay up to date with the Florida State campaign by clicking the Like button at our Koch Brothers Exposed page on Facebook where we're posting updates and opportunities to take action [http://act.bravenewfilms.org/go/590?akid=2037.94337.l4BKb0&t=7].
